In Other Words is a new play by emerging playwright Charlotte Giles, written partly in English and partly in Welsh. It explores the impact of the suppression of the Welsh language on a South Wales family during the Second World War. When their son goes missing, a couple are forced to confront years of suppressed resentment and learn how to communicate with each other.
